My goals as a designer are to expand my skills in identity design, experiment more with mixed media, and to learn more about packaging. Predominantly, though, my goal is to learn from and connect with as many people as I possibly can. The more connections I make, the more excited I am to create. I am working toward collaborating on projects that push the boundaries of print and allow me to tell meaningful stories through visual compositions.

hi, i’m lily!

I’m a graphic designer with a passion for print, editorial, and brand identity work. Much of my design centers around bold typographic systems, engaging yet consistent layouts, and a clear story. My strength is visually narrating the story behind a project by fusing type, color, and composition.

I approach design as a form of storytelling, where every visual element has a deeper meaning connected to the message behind the work. My process begins with understanding the core values and narrative of a project; to begin a design I need to know the tone, audience, and feeling that is intended to accomplish. From there, I use narrative and objective to create work that is functional and evocative. I believe design connects people in meaningful ways, so I strive to create work that leaves a lasting impression.

Outside of design, I’m usually scrolling through Pinterest for inspiration, hunting on Facebook Marketplace for unique pieces, or playing with my two dogs, Loki & Layla. I’m rarely without a cup of coffee, and I’ll never turn down anything made with potatoes (my favorite food because they are so versatile!). Music has always been vital to my life and Tyler, the Creator is one of my biggest inspirations– both as a musician and as an artist/designer.
